During this trip, we’ll take you through a guided tour off the coast of the Reykjanes peninsula, which is located around an hour’s drive south of Reykjavík. At Garður and the surrounding area, you’ll experience the vast sea life, including numerous species of fish and algae, as well as boundless terrain, such as kelp forests, sand stones, and coral. The wildlife varies depending on the season, but flounder, cod, mackerel, Wolffish, and crab can be commonly seen. The Faxaflói bay is full of life and the local Icelandic villages have thrived on the fish bounties for centuries.
We offer pickup and drop-off in Reykjavík. The total trip time will depend on both the tide and the weather. If the weather does not permit, we can explore additional locations that will provide a similar diving experience.
